ENG: yesterday I went to the beach with my friends.  I was Just tanning, chilling, all the usual things you do at a beach day. I got really tanned and tomorrow I’m going to another beach with other friends. It has been a chilled past couple of days, so I really can’t complain. Xo

NL: gisteren ben ik met wat vriendinnen naar het strand geweest. We hebben lekker gechillt, lekker bakken en gewoon alle standaard dingetjes die je doet als je een strand dagje hebt! Ik ben zo bizar bruin geworden en morgen ga ik nog een keer. De afgelopen dagen waren super chill, dus ik mAg echt niet klagen. Xo

Okay so I have this problem with denim Shorts. My thighs are not in proportion with my behind so I’m not feeling the bums out short- shorts. I can say that my denim shorts from the past two years have reached their comfort limit. It’s not that I don’t fit them, but I don’t think it looks flattering.

So finding new denim shorts was a bit of a task. I tried the ones at Zara and Forever 21, but they were all “nahh”. Long story short; go to h&m! I found the perfect length ones which covers your bum and are not too long at the front. I am so happy with these ones that I bought them in both colors and a dark one which was also good. The short hunt is done. Now the sun needs to appear more! X

ENG: Yesterday I met up with Jennie to shoot some pictures. The weather was surprisingly good, but I couldn’t do the bare legs, which is why I wore my jeans. Since I threw out half of my closet, I came across this off shoulder top again. I don’t know why but I don’t wear it a lot, but I really like it.
The past weekend I was in London for a day and I watched the whole new season of Orange is the new black. This week is all about work again and the rest I will just see! I wish you a wonderful week X

NL: Gisteren heb ik met Jennie afgesproken om even wat foto’s te schieten. Het weer was verrassend lekker, maar ik had gewoon even geen zin in blote benen, dus vandaar de jeans. Sinds ik mijn halve kledingkast heb weggedaan, kwam ik dit off shoulder topje weer tegen. Ik weet niet waarom ik hem niet zo vaak draag, aangezien ik het wel echt een leuk topje vind!

Afgelopen weekend was ik een dagje in Londen en heb ik heel het nieuwe seizoen van Orange is the new Black afgekeken. Deze week ben ik weer vollop aan het werk en zie ik wel wat ik nog ga doen! Ik wens jullie een fijne week X

I never thought I would have a thing for cowboy boots. Since I receive my newest boots from Nelson it has been my every day shoe. Compared to my Dr. Martens they give a less edgy look, which I think is good. It’s a good pair of black boots. The weather has been awesome past week, so I could wear some shorts again. I combined it with a satin blouse from Ivyrevel for a more feminine look. Really, the past week the boots has been the basic of my summer outfits, because they are so comfortable. Yihaaaa!

NL: Ik heb nooit gedacht dat ik cowboy laarzen leuk zou vinden! Sinds ik mijn nieuwste paar laarsjes van Nelson heb ontvangen, heb ik ze elke dag aan gehad! In vergelijking tot mijn Dr. Martens schoenen, geven deze boots een minder stoere look, wat ik dus wil! Het is gewoon een goede schoen. Het weer was van de week natuurlijk super goed, dus ook ik heb mijn shorts aangetrokken. Ik combineerde het met mijn satijnen blouse van Ivyrevel voor een iets vrouwelijke look. Echt, de laarsjes zijn echt top en de basis geweest van mijn zomerse outfitjes van afgelopen week.

ENG: It has been a while that I got out to take pictures for my blog. Of course I’ll always say it’s because of the weather (it really sucks in The Netherlands), but I also need people to shoot it for me. Planning shoots a head is not really my thing anymore, because I really feel that I need to blog because I want to do it. Last week I went to the beach with Mai to shoot some pictures. I am wearing a new top from Ivyrevel and combined it with my shorts. I’d rather have this look shot in the desert or somewhere more abandoned, but you got to work with what you got right!

I noticed myself that I am not sharing a lot of my personal life here anymore and focus more on my outfits. There are a few ideas in my head which I will write down on paper to make things a bit more interesting. If there are subjects or things that you would like to see or know, just write in the comment or send me a message through social media or e-mail! NL: Het is een tijdje terug dat ik weer puur voor mijn blog foto’s heb geschoten. Ik zal altijd blijven zeggen dat het komt omdat het weer in Nederland gewoon niet mee zit. Ook heb ik natuurlijk mensen nodig die voor mij de foto’s kunnen nemen. Vaak is het zo dat ik niet meer shoots van tevoren plan, want ik heb dan meer het gevoel dat ik het doe, omdat het moet. Ik wil echt alleen maar bloggen, omdat het een uitlaatklep is. Afgelopen week ging ik met Mai naar het strand om foto’s te maken. Ik droeg mijn nieuwe top van Ivyrevel en combineerde deze met een spijkershortje. Het liefst schoot ik deze foto’s ergens in de woestijn of een verlaten oord, maar ik moest het maar doen met het strand.

Ik merk dat ik minder persoonlijke dingen hier deel en meer gefocust ben op mijn outfits. Ik heb wel een aantal ideeën in mijn hoofd die ik even op papier moet zetten. Gewoon om het ook even interessanter te maken. Als er bepaalde onderwerpen of dingen die jullie zouden willen zien of weten, laat dan even een berichtje achter in de comments, social media of e-mail! ENG: What an incredible weekend did I have! I was invited by Jennie to join her for an influencers trip weekend in Disneyland Paris. The main focus of the trip was that we we’re getting sneak peek for the half-marathon that will be held in September. This will be the second edition of the run in Disneyland. There are three runs: the 5k (nocturnal, followed by a private party), 10k (through the Disneyland universe) and the half marathon. You can find more detailed information here. It was such an amazing experience so if you love to run this is something I would highly recommend doing!

NL: Ik had echt een fantastische twee dagen afgelopen weekend! Ik mocht met Jennie mee naar Disneyland Parijs voor een influencers trip. De focus van deze trip was dat we een sneak peek kregen voor de halve marathon dat daar wordt gehouden in September. Je kunt meedoen aan drie verschillende runs, namelijk de 5k (in de avond met een prive feest na afloop), de 10k en de halve marathon. Je kunt hier meer informatie vinden. Het was echt een geweldige ervaring, dus als je van hardlopen houdt, kan ik je dit zeker aanraden! Bekijk mijn korte vlog van de ”run”.
