#ONMAYBODY: T-shirt and Slip dress gold from Imagine by Kim

ENG:  part of work is that I get to help deciding what we will get in store. Yesterday we went to frange to buy in the new fall collection. On the road back we took pictures for the store and I had the idea to do it at a gas station. I always wanted to do that so I love that Kim is on the same page as I am! The collection is available in store and online today Xo

NL: Het leuke gedeelte van werk is dat Ik mag meebepalen wat er in de nieuwe collectie komt. Gister gingen we naar Frankrijk om dit te doen. Op de terug weg hebben we wat foto’s geschoten met de nieuwe items. Ik wilde altijd al eens een keer bij een tankstation schieten, dus ik ben zo blij dat Kim er hetzelfde over denkt. De nieuwe herfst collectie is vandaag beschikbaar in de winkel en online! Xo

ENG: How awesome are these western high boots from Loblan?! It is a challenge to wear these in The Netherlands, since I don’t want to look like a real cow girl. If I lived in a sunny place (ahum LA) I would wear them every day with shorts. But this is how I made my first look with the boots with a autumn-ish dress and fluffy vest from Imagine. Tonight me and my girlboss will head to Paris to get the new collection for the store. Super excited for this mini trip. Follow my snapchat (ohmaygodd) for more vlog-like updates!

NL: Hoe cool zijn deze western hoge laarzen van Loblan? Het is een kleine uitdaging voor mij om ze hier in Nederland te dragen, aangezien ik niet als een echte cow girl wil uitzien. Als ik op een warme plek woonde (kuch kuch LA), zou ik deze elke dag met shorts dragen. Dit is de eerste look die ik heb gemaakt met de laarzen, een herfstactige jurk met een fluffy vest van Imagine. Op de Nelson blog lees je meer over hoe ik de hoge laarzen trend combineer. Vanavond ga ik met mijn girlboss naar Parijs om te nieuwe collectie in te kopen voor de winkel. ENG: Today is apparently one of the last days that the weather will be good and my new Dr. Martens pascal in light blue came in right on time! I’m so out of ideas what to wear in this hot weather, so today I wearing almost nothing haha. It will be a hell walking the shoes in at first, but it will be worth it. The past days I have been hanging out with my girls a lot and what we do best; eating and talking. I think I came to the point where I have a clear view about my life and just live it to the fullest!

NL: Vandaag is het blijkbaar een van de laatste dagen dat het weer goed zal zijn. Mijn nieuwe Dr. Martens zijn net op tijd binnengekomen om nog soort van een zomerse look mee te maken. Ik ben echt inspiratieloos wat betreft zomer outfits, want ik wil eigenlijk zo min mogelijk aan. De afgelopen dagen ben ik lekker gaan uit eten met mijn vriendinnen en hebben eindeloos gepraat over van alles. Zo gezellig altijd! Ik ben nu wel echt op het punt gekomen dat ik wel een helder beeld heb over mijn leven, en ik ga er het beste van maken! Zo peptalk voor mezelf hier haha.

So the sun might not be shining but thank God, it is still bare legs days! It was time to finally wear my denim dress. I wore it with a black top and heels, so not that special! On Facebook I gave a shout out to all the people that have ever taken pictures for me, because without them it takes so much longer for me to have content.

I cut my bangs a few days ago! It wasn’t planned and I haven’t thought about it, but I just got scissors and did it. Yesterday I bumped my head into a steel clothing rack and since then I have been having headaches. I think I got to check with the doctor when it still like this on Monday! Anyways, I went to the beach and catched up with my friend. Just a chilled weekend! Hope you’re having a good weekend too Xo

At one point everyone will ask the same question: ”What is the purpose of my life”. Think about that, that each and everyone has this same thought, but the awnsers won’t be the same. I could debate and talk about this whole life thing for hours. It seems tiring, but to me, it gives me perspective each time. I noticed that I really only have to focus on what I do and what I can do for the people around me first. There is purpose in every little thing that you decide or do in my opinion. Each choice has a certain outcome and that is how life just goes on and on. So strange when you think about it. Or not, I am an over thinker so maybe these thoughts are a bit new for you (i hope not). Anyways, besides all of that deep thinking – everything is fine 😉 Just wanted to share a thought with you!

Summer is almost over, but luckily I still have something planned by the end of this month. I noticed that the past week that when the sun was out that my general mood was better. I think for lots of people! What if I belong in a sunny place? Thoughts to think about 😉 This weekend I will be in the middle of nowhere with church where we will spend time together. Looking forward to just playing and chilling with the kids and catching up with my brother and bestie. The pictures were shot during my stay in Antwerp. The lighting was perfect and I finally had the opportunity to wear my too revealing pretty dress from Chicwish. Xo

ENG: On the way to the loft in Antwerp me and the girls spotted a really cute house with the plants. I forgot the camera in the car so me and Veerle had to walk back. We decided to take some pictures in front of the house. There was no one at home, so it wasn’t that awkward to take pictures there. A few kids were playing on the streets so thought we were shooting for H&M or something, it was really funny.
I am so happy to announce that I will be one of the Nelson Ambassadors this year. I am so obsessed with shoes and jackets, I buy them without any guilt. So a collaboration with a shoe store is such great opportunity! By the end of this month the Nelson autumn magazine will come out where I will be doing something fun with it. I’ll keep you updated! NL: Onderweg naar de loft in Antwerpen hadden ik en de meiden een super schattige huisje met planten gespot. Ik was mijn camera in de auto vergeten, dus ik en Veerle zijn toen teruggelopen. We konden het niet laten om daar gelijk wat foto’s te schieten en aangezien niemand thuis was, voelde het niet zo awkward om daar te gaan poseren. Er waren ook nog een paar kinderen in de straat aan het spelen en vroegen of we voor de H&M aan het schieten waren. Dat was wel grappig!

Ik ben ook blij om te delen dat ik een van de Nelson ambassadeurs ben dit jaar. Ik ben zo verslaafd aan schoenen en jassen; ik koop ze zonder me schuldig te voelen. Dus een samenwerking met een schoenenwinkel is echt een fantastische kans. Aan het eind van deze maand komt de Nelson herfstmagazine uit en ik zal er iets tofs aan bijdragen, maar verder zeg ik even niks. Ik houd jullie op de hoogte! XO

Eng: After work today I shot some pictures for Margo and wanted to show you my look of today. I love love my Fries bag, since I love LOVE fries. I’m on the Subway now on my way back meeting up with my parents for ice cream. ENG: I’m back at work today. Hopefully I won’t get any weird sun attacks and I’ll be able to enjoy the sun as much I did on these pictures. The day that you know that you don’t have to bring a jacket, you know it is a good day! I’ve been thinking too much about things lately, that I tend to forget to prioritise the things that should be done. Don’t know why I have this constant feeling of stress while I actually have nothing to worry about! When my friend is back from her holidays I will go to the gym again, maybe that will help. We’ll see.. for now I am just really living day by day and planning in-between. XO
