ENG: I shot pictures with Gerson again! We both didn’t had inspiration for locations around our area so at first we went to the park for some cheesy pictures. After walking around I came across an awesome wall where I took the rest of the pictures. I also shot some video’s for his latest cover which you can see above. NL: Ik heb weer foto’s met Gerson geschoten! We hadden allebei geen inspiratie voor locaties in de buurt, dus gingen we maar eerst naar het park om wat ”cheesy” herfst foto’s te schieten. Veerle is one of the sweetest persons I got to know this year. When you see certain people a lot, then you will eventually open up too. Even though we have an age difference of 6 years (haha i feel old), we level pretty good with each other and it is always fun when I work with her. I asked her to come along on the Antwerpen trip, because I like taking pictures of her! She is so pretty haha! I took more pictures from people the past months that I still need to share, so I will pull myself together sometime soon and post them here! Stay tuned of more #ONMAYCAMERA

ENG: I’ve known Gerson since high school and back then we already took pictures during our lunch breaks. We never lost contact and from time to time we keep each other updated about our lives. NL: Ik ken Gerson sinds de middelbare school en toen schoten we al samen foto’s tijdens de pauze. We zijn sindsdien altijd wel in contact gebleven en houden elkaar op de hoogte van wat er in ons leven gebeurd. ENG: Yesterday I shot 3 looks with Joby. We worked together at Weekday and became friends really quick. That is quite easy when you have the same humor and your favourite movies are White Chicks and Mean Girls. Over the 1,5 year we inspired each other a lot when it comes to photography. It has been a while that I have met up with him for outfit shoots, so this time we tried more poses and angles, which turned out super if I may say so myself ;). More to come! NL: Gisteren had ik drie looks met Joby geschoten. We werkten samen bij Weekday en werden al snel vrienden. Dat gaat ook wel zo makkelijk als je dezelfde humor hebt en White Chicks & Mean Girls beide onze lievelingsfilms zijn. Het afgelopen anderhalf jaar hebben we elkaar best veel geïnspireerd als het gaat om fotografie. Ik heb dan ook al echt een tijdje niet met hem afgesproken om foto’s te schieten, dus we probeerden verschillende poses en hoeken uit. lk ben echt heel erg blij met het resultaat! ENG: Working at Imagine gives me the opportunity to be creative when it comes to photography. Since I started taking pictures around nine years ago, I never pushed myself to be better. Time for a change! Here are some pictures I shot for the store’s social media. Since about two weeks I own a new flasher, so I could test it on Veerle, the store’s model. Today I will be shooting at a wedding, exciting!

NL: Werken bij Imagine geeft mij de mogelijkheid om lekker creatief bezig te zijn als het om fotografie gaat. Ongeveer negen jaar geleden begon ik met foto’s schieten, maar heb mijzelf nooit echt gepusht om beter te worden. Tijd voor verandering! Hier zijn een aantal shots voor de winkels’ social media account. Ik heb sinds twee weken een flitser, dus ik kon hem lekker uittesten op Veerle ons modelletje. Vandaag ga ik op een bruiloft fotograferen, spannend!

ENG: Over the years I had the opportunity to capture special events, such as fashion weeks, parties, baby showers and store openings. Since I own my new camera I started a new hashtag #onmaycamera. Last friday I attended the 10th year anniversary party of the lovely Marjolein and her fiancé Patrick. It was held at the Ferro winebar, which looked really cozy and stylish. The theme was ”a touch of red” and I played my paparazzi part for the evening.

NL: Afgelopen jaren heb ik de kans gehad om op verschillende evenementen, zoals fashion week, feestjes, baby showers en winkel openingen te fotograferen. Sinds ik mijn nieuwe camera heb, ben ik een nieuwe hashtag gestart: #onmaycamera. Afgelopen vrijdag was ik aanwezig op de tien-jarige jubileum van Marjolein en haar verloofde Patrick. Het werd in een wijnbar genaamd Ferro gehouden. De sfeer was gezellig en erg stijlvol. Het thema was het feestje was ”a touch of red” en ik ging als paparazzi aan de slag.
