How to wear: Western Boots

I’ve received new boots from Sacha. In this post I will show you how I style my Western Boots.

I’m obsessed with boots and in the summer I wear a lot of Western like boots. I usually wear them with a dress or nice shorts to make the look a whole lot of edgier. I love the California bohemian vibe so much, but that is not really possible with this overall cold weather in The Netherlands. What do now is, that I wear these kind of boots with a nice high waist Levi’s jeans and a big sweater.

When I want to dress up a bit, I will wear the boots with a leather pants or a flared pants. That way the pointy front gives the outfit a more sophisticated look. Just how I wear it on these pictures. I have a silk singlet on, paired with a leather culotte and a chain belt with stones for the extra bling. The finishing touch are the boots with the pointy silver detail, which makes a simple look not so simple. I really can not wait for the summer to start so I can wear the shoes with a crop tops/printed tees and denim shorts.

I’ve been a long time fan of the western boot trend, but I still notice that people tell me they’re just cowboy boots. I think It’s all about how you mix and match it with your outfit with. I hope that this look inspires you on how you can wear the Western boots!

Ik heb nieuwe laarzen van Sacha ontvangen. In deze post zal ik je laten zien hoe ik mijn Western Boots stijl!

Ik ben geobsedeerd door laarzen en in de zomer draag ik veel westernachtige laarzen. Ik draag ze meestal met een jurk of een mooie korte broek om de look een stuk stoerder te maken. Ik hou zoveel van de Californische bohemian vibe, maar dat is niet echt mogelijk met dit koude weer in Nederland. Wat nu wel is, is dat ik dit soort laarzen draag met een mooie Levi’s jeans met hoge taille en een grote trui.

Als ik voor een nettere look wil gaan, draag ik de laarzen met een leren broek of een flare broek. Op die manier geeft de puntige voorkant de outfit een meer verfijnde uitstraling. Ik heb een ”zijden” singlet aan, gecombineerd met een leren culotte en een kettingriem met stenen voor de extra bling. De finishing touch zijn de laarzen met het puntige zilveren detail, waardoor deze simpele look niet zo basic uit ziet. Ik kan echt niet wachten tot de zomer begint, zodat ik kan de schoenen dragen met een crop tops / printed tees en denim shorts.

Ik ben al lang fan van de westerse laarstrend, maar ik merk nog steeds dat mensen me vertellen dat het gewoon cowboylaarzen zijn. Ik denk dat het erom gaat hoe je het combineert en afstemt met je outfit. Ik hoop dat deze look je inspireert hoe je de westernlaarzen kunt dragen!
