ENG: Yesterday I met up with Jennie to shoot some pictures. The weather was surprisingly good, but I couldn’t do the bare legs, which is why I wore my jeans. Since I threw out half of my closet, I came across this off shoulder top again. I don’t know why but I don’t wear it a lot, but I really like it.
The past weekend I was in London for a day and I watched the whole new season of Orange is the new black. This week is all about work again and the rest I will just see! I wish you a wonderful week X

NL: Gisteren heb ik met Jennie afgesproken om even wat foto’s te schieten. Het weer was verrassend lekker, maar ik had gewoon even geen zin in blote benen, dus vandaar de jeans. Sinds ik mijn halve kledingkast heb weggedaan, kwam ik dit off shoulder topje weer tegen. Ik weet niet waarom ik hem niet zo vaak draag, aangezien ik het wel echt een leuk topje vind!

Afgelopen weekend was ik een dagje in Londen en heb ik heel het nieuwe seizoen van Orange is the new Black afgekeken. Deze week ben ik weer vollop aan het werk en zie ik wel wat ik nog ga doen! Ik wens jullie een fijne week X

ENG: Hey ya’ll! It’s been several weeks since I’ve posted something on my blog, but I’ve been sick the last few weeks and the weather wasn’t that great either. You can imagine that I didn’t feel like shooting outfit pictures. Now this week the sun came out again and it was time to share an outfit with my new items. As you may have seen in shops, there are now many ruffles incorporated into clothing. I think it’s a cool trend, but it could quickly look girlish, chic or preppy. Well, these are terms that aren’t on my list when it comes to clothing style, but that is why I also combined this ruffles sweater with a high waist jeans and a new pair of edgy boots from PS Poelman. To complete the look I wore my buckle belt and jacket with fringes, so that the same ” western ” details are there just as in the footwear.

NL: Hallo allemaal! Het is alweer een aantal weken geleden dat ik wat heb gepost op mijn blog, maar ik ben de afgelopen weken ziek geweest en het weer zat ook niet mee. Je kan je dan wel indenken dat ik geen zin had om dan ook nog eens foto’s te gaan schieten. Nu de zon van de week zichzelf weer even goed liet zien werd het hoog tijd om een outfit te laten zien met mijn nieuwe items. Zoals je misschien hebt gezien in verschillende winkels, zijn er nu super veel ruffles verwerkt in kledingstukken. Ik vind het een leuke trend, maar het kan ook snel iets te meisjesachtig, chique of preppy overkomen. Nou zijn dit termen die niet bij mijn lijstje horen kwa kledingstijl, maar daarom heb ik deze ruffle trui ook gecombineerd met een high waist jeans en een paar nieuwe stoere boots van PS Poelman. Om de look af te maken droeg ik mijn buckle riem en jas met fringes, zodat de zelfde ”western” details terugkwamen zoals in de schoenen.

ENG: Okay, I was pretty optimistic when I wanted to shoot this look. The weather seemed to be working along so I thought, but it was freezing cold. I just wanted to show you how I would wear this skirt. Unfortunately it is too short, which makes it almost impossible to wear it this fall and winter season. I still love it though, but you will probably see it next year again 😉

NL: Oke, ik was best optimistisch voordat ik deze look ging schieten. Het weer leek mee te werken, tenminste dat dacht ik, maar het was ijskoud. Ik wilde jullie laten zien hoe ik deze rok zou dragen. Helaas is die toch iets te kort, waardoor het bijna onmogelijk is om het dit herfst en winterseizoen te dragen. Ik vind hem alsnog leuk, maar je zult hem pas denk ik volgend jaar weer terug zien 😉

ENG: I have been a bit MIA for the past few days (not on snapchat) but i have been working and getting a bit sick, which sucks! That’s why I decided to wear my new knit jumper last monday from Chicwish. I just love the stuff that they have and so happy to collaborate with them for a while now.

Anyways, I am packing up my stuff and getting ready for bed soon because I have an early flight to Barcelona with Jen & Wen! I think the sun will help with my beginning flu. Hopefully I will be able to take lots of cool pictures and relax to the fullest. I will take a vlog camera with me so I can remember this fun trip!

As I mentioned in my previous post, I was briefly in Paris. After a petite déjeuner with Kim we shot these pictures in like five minutes. I’ll definitely have to go back soon for a weekend for pictures. Xo

Summer is almost over, but luckily I still have something planned by the end of this month. I noticed that the past week that when the sun was out that my general mood was better. I think for lots of people! What if I belong in a sunny place? Thoughts to think about 😉 This weekend I will be in the middle of nowhere with church where we will spend time together. Looking forward to just playing and chilling with the kids and catching up with my brother and bestie. The pictures were shot during my stay in Antwerp. The lighting was perfect and I finally had the opportunity to wear my too revealing pretty dress from Chicwish. Xo

ENG: I’m back at work today. Hopefully I won’t get any weird sun attacks and I’ll be able to enjoy the sun as much I did on these pictures. The day that you know that you don’t have to bring a jacket, you know it is a good day! I’ve been thinking too much about things lately, that I tend to forget to prioritise the things that should be done. Don’t know why I have this constant feeling of stress while I actually have nothing to worry about! When my friend is back from her holidays I will go to the gym again, maybe that will help. We’ll see.. for now I am just really living day by day and planning in-between. XO

ENG: What a lovely weekend I had! Spend time with my friends and I even went to an ”Escape Room”. If you haven’t heard of it, it is a room where you are locked in and you need to get out by figuring out all the clues that are hidden in the room. It was super fun and we escaped right on time! You only get one hour and we got out at 59:30. I also tried a bit of crocodile meat at an African restaurant. It tasted a bit like chicken, but it had a more thick structure. Tomorrow I will be shooting engagement pictures for a friend of mine. The weather will be good this week, so I’m already a happy girl!

NL: Ik heb echt een fijn weekend gehad met mijn vrienden en ik ben zelfs naar een ”Escape Room” geweest. Mocht je er nog nooit van hebben gehoord; het is een kamer waarin je wordt opgesloten en binnen een uur uit moet zien te komen door middel het oplossen van hints in de kamer. Het was echt leuk, echt een aanrader om te doen. We hadden het echt net op tijd gehaald. Ook heb ik een stukje krokodillenvlees gegeten bij een Afrikaans restaurant. Het smaakte een beetje naar kip met een hardere structuur. Morgen ga ik verlovingsfoto’s schieten voor een vriendinnetje. Het weer wordt deze week volgens mij goed, dus dat maakt mij al super blij!
