coong: Last saturday I was in Amsterdam for an event with Nelson. We went to the Ecco Leather factory Petit where we got to know about the leather business from Ecco. You might know Ecco from the shoes, but that is just a part of the company. Ecco leather also delivers the goods to external companies such as Apple, Alexander Wang and so on. It was interesting to know how leather is processed and the differences. After that we could make our own leather good and I chose for a black shopper. Yes, a bit boring, because there were plenty of colors of leather to choose from, but I know that I will wear this with me every day! After that we went for a lunch and got to see the autumn/winter magazine of Nelson, where I am featured in alongside the other ambassadors.

NL: Afgelopen zaterdag was ik in Amsterdam voor een evenement met Nelson schoenen. We gingen naar de Ecco Leather factory petit, waar we een presentatie en workshop kregen van Ecco Leather. Je kent Ecco misschien van de schoenen, maar dat is maar een klein onderdeel van het hele bedrijf. Ecco Leather levert het leer aan externe bedrijven zoals Apple, Alexander Wang enzovoorts. Het was interessant om het te weten en met leer te werken, want we mochten na de presentatie zelf aan de slag. Ik had gekozen om een zwarte shopper te maken. Ja, het klinkt misschien een beetje saai, want er waren verschillende kleuren leer waar ik uit kon kiezen, maar ik wist gewoon zeker dat ik hem dan elke dag zou dragen. Na de workshop gingen we gezellig lunchen waar we de herfst/winter magazine van Nelson kregen. Ik sta er zelf ook in met de andere ambassadeurs, dus dat is super vet natuurlijk!

ENG: Today is apparently one of the last days that the weather will be good and my new Dr. Martens pascal in light blue came in right on time! I’m so out of ideas what to wear in this hot weather, so today I wearing almost nothing haha. It will be a hell walking the shoes in at first, but it will be worth it. The past days I have been hanging out with my girls a lot and what we do best; eating and talking. I think I came to the point where I have a clear view about my life and just live it to the fullest!

NL: Vandaag is het blijkbaar een van de laatste dagen dat het weer goed zal zijn. Mijn nieuwe Dr. Martens zijn net op tijd binnengekomen om nog soort van een zomerse look mee te maken. Ik ben echt inspiratieloos wat betreft zomer outfits, want ik wil eigenlijk zo min mogelijk aan. De afgelopen dagen ben ik lekker gaan uit eten met mijn vriendinnen en hebben eindeloos gepraat over van alles. Zo gezellig altijd! Ik ben nu wel echt op het punt gekomen dat ik wel een helder beeld heb over mijn leven, en ik ga er het beste van maken! Zo peptalk voor mezelf hier haha.

Veerle is one of the sweetest persons I got to know this year. When you see certain people a lot, then you will eventually open up too. Even though we have an age difference of 6 years (haha i feel old), we level pretty good with each other and it is always fun when I work with her. I asked her to come along on the Antwerpen trip, because I like taking pictures of her! She is so pretty haha! I took more pictures from people the past months that I still need to share, so I will pull myself together sometime soon and post them here! Stay tuned of more #ONMAYCAMERA

So the sun might not be shining but thank God, it is still bare legs days! It was time to finally wear my denim dress. I wore it with a black top and heels, so not that special! On Facebook I gave a shout out to all the people that have ever taken pictures for me, because without them it takes so much longer for me to have content.

I cut my bangs a few days ago! It wasn’t planned and I haven’t thought about it, but I just got scissors and did it. Yesterday I bumped my head into a steel clothing rack and since then I have been having headaches. I think I got to check with the doctor when it still like this on Monday! Anyways, I went to the beach and catched up with my friend. Just a chilled weekend! Hope you’re having a good weekend too Xo

At one point everyone will ask the same question: ”What is the purpose of my life”. Think about that, that each and everyone has this same thought, but the awnsers won’t be the same. I could debate and talk about this whole life thing for hours. It seems tiring, but to me, it gives me perspective each time. I noticed that I really only have to focus on what I do and what I can do for the people around me first. There is purpose in every little thing that you decide or do in my opinion. Each choice has a certain outcome and that is how life just goes on and on. So strange when you think about it. Or not, I am an over thinker so maybe these thoughts are a bit new for you (i hope not). Anyways, besides all of that deep thinking – everything is fine 😉 Just wanted to share a thought with you!

Summer is almost over, but luckily I still have something planned by the end of this month. I noticed that the past week that when the sun was out that my general mood was better. I think for lots of people! What if I belong in a sunny place? Thoughts to think about 😉 This weekend I will be in the middle of nowhere with church where we will spend time together. Looking forward to just playing and chilling with the kids and catching up with my brother and bestie. The pictures were shot during my stay in Antwerp. The lighting was perfect and I finally had the opportunity to wear my too revealing pretty dress from Chicwish. Xo

ENG: On the way to the loft in Antwerp me and the girls spotted a really cute house with the plants. I forgot the camera in the car so me and Veerle had to walk back. We decided to take some pictures in front of the house. There was no one at home, so it wasn’t that awkward to take pictures there. A few kids were playing on the streets so thought we were shooting for H&M or something, it was really funny.
I am so happy to announce that I will be one of the Nelson Ambassadors this year. I am so obsessed with shoes and jackets, I buy them without any guilt. So a collaboration with a shoe store is such great opportunity! By the end of this month the Nelson autumn magazine will come out where I will be doing something fun with it. I’ll keep you updated! NL: Onderweg naar de loft in Antwerpen hadden ik en de meiden een super schattige huisje met planten gespot. Ik was mijn camera in de auto vergeten, dus ik en Veerle zijn toen teruggelopen. We konden het niet laten om daar gelijk wat foto’s te schieten en aangezien niemand thuis was, voelde het niet zo awkward om daar te gaan poseren. Er waren ook nog een paar kinderen in de straat aan het spelen en vroegen of we voor de H&M aan het schieten waren. Dat was wel grappig!

Ik ben ook blij om te delen dat ik een van de Nelson ambassadeurs ben dit jaar. Ik ben zo verslaafd aan schoenen en jassen; ik koop ze zonder me schuldig te voelen. Dus een samenwerking met een schoenenwinkel is echt een fantastische kans. Aan het eind van deze maand komt de Nelson herfstmagazine uit en ik zal er iets tofs aan bijdragen, maar verder zeg ik even niks. Ik houd jullie op de hoogte! XO

You probably heard of the term: ”life is what you make of it”. I try to live a simple life and chill down, but ”life” does not always go my way. There are so many factors that you can’t control and situations that turn out and impact you, small or big. For the past month I have the feeling I am just drifting through life. I’m trying to keep myself busy with work, meeting up with people, but at the end of the day I rather want to netflix and chill haha. I am currently still watching Gilmore Girls, keeping up with Pretty Little Liars and started with ”The Get Down”

Last weekend I went to Germany visit my family and we went to Hamburg for some sightseeing and shopping. I drove so fast with the car and even reached the limit of 194 kmh! That gave me such an adrenaline. Yesterday I went to Antwerp with a few girls and I just came home. We rented a loft that had a pool and took many pictures. It was short but fun!

Eng: After work today I shot some pictures for Margo and wanted to show you my look of today. I love love my Fries bag, since I love LOVE fries. I’m on the Subway now on my way back meeting up with my parents for ice cream. The weather is awesome so I thought it was nice to treat them for some yummy stuff. I haven’t had dinner yet so I’m probably buying myself, you can guess: Fries haha! Have a good evening Xo
