ENG: Today is apparently one of the last days that the weather will be good and my new Dr. Martens pascal in light blue came in right on time! I’m so out of ideas what to wear in this hot weather, so today I wearing almost nothing haha. It will be a hell walking the shoes in at first, but it will be worth it. The past days I have been hanging out with my girls a lot and what we do best; eating and talking. I think I came to the point where I have a clear view about my life and just live it to the fullest!
NL: Vandaag is het blijkbaar een van de laatste dagen dat het weer goed zal zijn. Mijn nieuwe Dr. Martens zijn net op tijd binnengekomen om nog soort van een zomerse look mee te maken. Ik ben echt inspiratieloos wat betreft zomer outfits, want ik wil eigenlijk zo min mogelijk aan. De afgelopen dagen ben ik lekker gaan uit eten met mijn vriendinnen en hebben eindeloos gepraat over van alles. Zo gezellig altijd! Ik ben nu wel echt op het punt gekomen dat ik wel een helder beeld heb over mijn leven, en ik ga er het beste van maken! Zo peptalk voor mezelf hier haha.

Summer is almost over, but luckily I still have something planned by the end of this month. I noticed that the past week that when the sun was out that my general mood was better. I think for lots of people! What if I belong in a sunny place? Thoughts to think about 😉 This weekend I will be in the middle of nowhere with church where we will spend time together. Looking forward to just playing and chilling with the kids and catching up with my brother and bestie. The pictures were shot during my stay in Antwerp. The lighting was perfect and I finally had the opportunity to wear my too revealing pretty dress from Chicwish. Xo

ENG: On the way to the loft in Antwerp me and the girls spotted a really cute house with the plants. I forgot the camera in the car so me and Veerle had to walk back. We decided to take some pictures in front of the house. There was no one at home, so it wasn’t that awkward to take pictures there. A few kids were playing on the streets so thought we were shooting for H&M or something, it was really funny.
I am so happy to announce that I will be one of the Nelson Ambassadors this year. I am so obsessed with shoes and jackets, I buy them without any guilt. So a collaboration with a shoe store is such great opportunity! By the end of this month the Nelson autumn magazine will come out where I will be doing something fun with it. I’ll keep you updated! NL: Onderweg naar de loft in Antwerpen hadden ik en de meiden een super schattige huisje met planten gespot. Ik was mijn camera in de auto vergeten, dus ik en Veerle zijn toen teruggelopen. We konden het niet laten om daar gelijk wat foto’s te schieten en aangezien niemand thuis was, voelde het niet zo awkward om daar te gaan poseren. Er waren ook nog een paar kinderen in de straat aan het spelen en vroegen of we voor de H&M aan het schieten waren. Dat was wel grappig!
Ik ben ook blij om te delen dat ik een van de Nelson ambassadeurs ben dit jaar. Ik ben zo verslaafd aan schoenen en jassen; ik koop ze zonder me schuldig te voelen. Dus een samenwerking met een schoenenwinkel is echt een fantastische kans. Aan het eind van deze maand komt de Nelson herfstmagazine uit en ik zal er iets tofs aan bijdragen, maar verder zeg ik even niks. Ik houd jullie op de hoogte! XO

ENG: I’m back at work today. Hopefully I won’t get any weird sun attacks and I’ll be able to enjoy the sun as much I did on these pictures. The day that you know that you don’t have to bring a jacket, you know it is a good day! I’ve been thinking too much about things lately, that I tend to forget to prioritise the things that should be done. Don’t know why I have this constant feeling of stress while I actually have nothing to worry about! When my friend is back from her holidays I will go to the gym again, maybe that will help. We’ll see.. for now I am just really living day by day and planning in-between. XO

ENG: What a lovely weekend I had! Spend time with my friends and I even went to an ”Escape Room”. If you haven’t heard of it, it is a room where you are locked in and you need to get out by figuring out all the clues that are hidden in the room. It was super fun and we escaped right on time! You only get one hour and we got out at 59:30. I also tried a bit of crocodile meat at an African restaurant. It tasted a bit like chicken, but it had a more thick structure. Tomorrow I will be shooting engagement pictures for a friend of mine. The weather will be good this week, so I’m already a happy girl!
NL: Ik heb echt een fijn weekend gehad met mijn vrienden en ik ben zelfs naar een ”Escape Room” geweest. Mocht je er nog nooit van hebben gehoord; het is een kamer waarin je wordt opgesloten en binnen een uur uit moet zien te komen door middel het oplossen van hints in de kamer. Het was echt leuk, echt een aanrader om te doen. We hadden het echt net op tijd gehaald. Ook heb ik een stukje krokodillenvlees gegeten bij een Afrikaans restaurant. Het smaakte een beetje naar kip met een hardere structuur. Morgen ga ik verlovingsfoto’s schieten voor een vriendinnetje. Het weer wordt deze week volgens mij goed, dus dat maakt mij al super blij!

What do to when there is no one to take pictures for you? Self timer and the tripod are your best friends then. I took these pictures when the weather was good and had a free day. I absolutely love the shirt that I also got from Chicwish. I don’t have a lot of sophisticated blouses or tops so this one is great. Today I have to work, got a party from an engaged couple where I’m the photographer, so keep an eye on my snapchat (ohmaygodd)!
Wat doe je als niemand foto’s voor je kunt maken? De self-timer en tripod zijn je beste vrienden dan! Ik heb deze foto’s zelf geschoten toen het goed weer was en een vrije dag had. Ik hou van dit topje die ik ook van Chicwish heb gekregen. Vooral omdat ik nog niet zoveel nette blousjes of topjes heb, dus deze is perfect. Voeg mij toe op snapchat voor mijn dagelijkse avonturen. Ik moet vandaag werken, heb een feestje van een verloofd stel waar ik moet gaan fotograferen, dus houd mijn snapchat (ohmaygodd) in de gaten!

ENG:Â The past days I have been really busy with photography. New profile pictures for friends, Instagram pictures for Imagine by Kim, tomorrow evening at a party and of course for my own blog. I’m still figuring out how my new camera works and until recently I have been editing my pictures in Adobe Lightroom. All new functions and other things I still need to learn. I wore this look last monday and it’s in collaboration with the webshop Shein. From time to time I can pick some new items out, which is super nice! This time I chose for an oversized t-shirt and an a-line button up skirt. I have a 40% code for you (Ma-dimplekhadi40) to use when you check out at Shein. I hope that the weather continues on being this great, because I feel more positive!
NL: Afgelopen dagen ben ik echt veel bezig geweest met fotograferen. Nieuwe profielfoto’s voor vrienden, Instagramfoto’s voor Imagine by Kim, morgenavond een feestje en natuurlijk voor mijn eigen blog. Ik ben echt nog steeds aan het uitzoeken hoe mijn nieuwe camera werkt en bewerk mijn foto’s tegenwoordig in Adobe Lightroom. Allemaal nieuwe functies en dingetjes waar ik nog veel van kan leren. Ik droeg deze look afgelopen maandag en het is in samenwerking met de webshop Shein. Ik mag op z’n tijd nieuwe dingetjes uitzoeken, wat natuurlijk super leuk is. Dit keer koos ik voor een lekkere oversized t-shirt en een a-line button up rokje (wat ik natuurlijk nog niet heb in denim ;)). Ik hoop echt dat het weer zo lekker blijft, want ik merk echt aan mezelf dat ik veel positiever ben!

Happy Sunday! If you follow me on Snapchat you’ve probably seen some sneak peeks of my new room already. Except for my clothing style, i am also in the bohemian vibes when it comes to my room interior. Now I have more space to take pictures inside for when no-one can shoot pictures for me. I am wearing a nice tunic, combined with my black over the knee boots, hat and choker to create an edgier look. I receive more great items from Chicwish so I can’t wait to show you! Unfortunately i have to work today, but it’s only for a couple of hours. Hope you had a wonderful week!
Happy sunday! Als jullie mij op Snapchat volgen, hebben jullie waarschijnlijk al wat sneak peeks van mijn nieuwe kamer gezien. Ik zit nu naast mijn kledingstijl ook een beetje in de bohemian sferen kwa interieur. Nu heb ik meer ruimte om ook binnen foto’s te maken, dus dat is wel handig als niemand buiten foto’s kan schieten. Ik draag een super leuk tuniekje, gecombineerd met mijn zwarte hoge laarzen, hoed en choker om het wat stoerder te maken. Â Ik heb nog meer leuke items van Chicwish ontvangen, dus ik laat ze snel zien. Vandaag moet ik helaas werken, maar gelukkig zijn het maar een paar uurtjes. Ik hoop dat jullie een fijne week hebben gehad!
